Happy Blogiversary To Me {Starbucks Card Giveaway}

Well, friends, it's been a year.
A year ago today, I sat down and wrote a post about how great my husband is.
The rest is history.

As a special thank you for reading this blog, I'm doing my very first giveaway.
I'm sort of nervous about it for some unknown reason.
I wanted to do something creative, but ran out of time.  So yesterday, I picked this up.

It has $25 on it.  Starbucks cards are one of my favorite gifts.

I'm giving it away as a thank you for reading my blog.
And being interested in what we are up to.
And for looking at endless pictures of my boys.

Like this one I posted exactly on May 12 last year.
I may cry looking at this one because they are so much bigger now.

You have encouraged me.  I can't tell you how great it makes me feel when you say, "Hey, I love reading your blog."  Or, "I used your cookie recipe and loved it."  Or, "You have inspired me to do this or that."

I have also greatly appreciated your comments, some from friends, and others from strangers who are becoming friends.  Thank you for your encouragement and suggestions.  I love reading both.

So, if you want to win the Starbucks card, leave a comment telling me what you most want to see from this blog in the next year at the end of this post.  I'll close the giveaway on Friday at midnight, and post results on Saturday.

I'm excited to read your comments.
I love blogiversaries!
Don't you?

I love the postings you do about homeschooling! This has me totally overwhelmed (we aren't even starting until next year) but I love to see you organize and tackle this huge responsibility! I also love looking at the posts that have nothing to do with anything...just a glimpse of your day to day life. It makes me feel much better knowing that other moms are crazy too. :) Thanks for the blog, love you! -Keri

I love reading your blog because the day-to-days in a house full of boys looks a little different than my house full of girls. I love to read about the little projects you guys do (like the 25 days of cookies) and it encourages me to take time out to enjoy my kiddos and embrace all of those teachable moments. I'd love to see more of those and I love the honesty that comes with living in a house full of children (like the swept floor pile). Reminds me I'm not alone :) Thanks for sharing!

Sorry- That was me... not Graham :)

Sad to say I've been reading your blog even before I met you, face-to-face. I'd love to see you continue to be real with your readers! Keep on.

I've been a "lurker" of your blog since Krista told us to check it out at our homeschool Christmas party. I love your great pictures, and like your friend Lori, I love getting a glimpse into what a house full of Y chromosomes is like. You're funny and genuine and have super sweet kids! So glad we've gotten to know you and your family this year.

I love your blog- AND I love giveaways! I want to see more pics of your pack of boys and family-and I want to hear about your saving money tips :-) and what recipes you love that are fast and good. I still love the mini chicken chili cups recipe!!

Well, now you've done it, I'm finally going to have to make a Google account. I love your life with boys...the parallels and the inspirations and ideas. (I'll never think of Lego organization without thinking of you! And we opened and completed our biggest project to date this morning for John's birthday!)

Ha! So, now I'm excited about my comment making possibilities!

Sarah....I simply love everything you write about because it reminds me of days gone by when my five were the ages of your five. Keep it up! It's encouraging and inspiring and transparent. The Whitings LOVE the WOLFES!

I love your blog, seeing the pictures of your family and a small insight into your lives!!! Seeing how you guide those young men to Christ, is great to watch. I hope that you'll continue to post about simple things that happen in the house that help all of us see the humor in our lives. Love you all so much!!!!! Love, Stephanie Whiting <3

Confession time...I'm a sleeper...read your stuff all the time and proud to be related to you. Nothing motivates a Roembke to post like FREE STUFF!

Okay, I am not just saying this in the hopes of winning the card... I LOVE YOUR BLOG!! I was just telling Faith the other day how I appreciate your writing so much because you are so REAL and so unpretentious. Other blogs I visit often make me feel discouraged because the authors come across as Super Moms who have it all put together, they have the perfect children, the perfect homes, and somehow find time to do everything from baking homemade bread every day to canning every vegetable grown in their huge gardens to running their own home busines... and on and on and on. You are funny and natural and I feel inspired in my role as a homemaker and mother when I read your entries! In the future, I would love to read posts about how you spend special time with each child on an individual basis. I am really struggling with that, and as a fellow mother of 5, I'm sure you can relate! I would also love if you could post some family-friendly, healthy-ish, tried-and-true, "my whole family loves this" recipes, especially dinner recipes. Thanks, and Happy Blogiversary!!!

Sarah- You make blogging look possible for the outsider. Love that in a mere minute or two I can get to know your family better. Doesn't take much time and is super cute! Love it, Girl. - Rhiannon

I like your conversational and humorous style of writing. I like that the blogs are short and mainly graphics so I feel like I can read them when I notice them and not put them on my "when I have time" list...which I never seem to get to. Love you! And am still very seriously considering the whole arranged marriage thing. I'm just not acting excited in front of my girls so they don't pooh-pooh the idea!

Oh, and happy 12-monthiversary...

A year of blogging, that is an accomplishment! I love reading about your boys and seeing all your terrific pictures. You know I can never get enough baseball ones!!

I love your balance of transparency and inspiration. You blend the two to make a great blog read.

And, any good laundry tips are always appreciated as I know washing stinky boy clothes, you must have some ;)

I feel like you have been blogging for longer than a year, why do I feel like that? Maybe because I love checking out each post!

Hmmm, I want to see pictures of what a day in the life of you HOMESCHOOLING looks like (including what YOU look like:). I mean, do your boys actually sit still for any length of time? I don't know how you do it!

no requests; love it all just the way it is! thanks!

Because I am a serious type (which I don't like about myself sometimes)...I like the funny stuff on your blog and the sweet pictures, but I'd also like to hear about the story "behind" sometimes. And of course I'd love to hear some fashion tips for mom's of little ones. :-) You are always dressed so cute and because I know it's you it wasn't super expensive.

It seems that my original comment was deleted in all the Blogger chaos!

I have been a lurker of your blog ever since Krista told us about it at our homeschool Christmas party and have enjoyed it ever since.

You are both funny and genuine and have some of the sweetest boys I've ever met. I'm so thankful to have had the opportunity to get to know your family a little better this year.

With all the girls I have around here, I always love catching a glimpse of life in a house full of Y chromosomes! (And the fabulous pictures don't hurt either!)

For next year? Perhaps more of the same, but with some photography tips as well??

I am a 26 year old, single girl in Mississippi who stumbled upon your blog from Krista Sanders blog. And it's now become one of my favorites! I check several times a week. :)

Lord willing, one day I want to be a mom of 4-5 kids and as a teacher right now, would love to homeschool my kids. So I love reading just about how much fun and joy you have in staying home with your boys. And any creativity and organization tips you have are so great!

I just love reading about any women who love the Lord, and love being a wife and mother!
