July Madness {Field Museum & Cubs Game}

On our third day in Chicago, we did the Field Museum.  To be honest, it was my least favorite museum, but I guess there would have to be one that I didn't just love.  I've never been completely crazy about archeology to begin with, but a few of my boys love that stuff.  So it was all worth it in the end.  Plus, we got to go with sweet friends.  I went to college with Christy and it was a joy to spend the day with her and her girls.  And just look at her youngest all cozy up to Graham… adorable.
The architecture in this museum was AMAZING.  Like really amazing.

And Christy has the sweetest girls ever.  They were such good sports… hanging out with a big crew of boys!  We miss you Mia and Madison!

We got to catch up on the last decade of our lives while the kids walked through the museum.

After the museum, we snapped this picture.  I think it's a keeper.

Then we sat in traffic for about an hour on the way to the Cubs game.
Our tickets were on the very back row of the stadium.  We were grateful b/c it was a hot, muggy night and we were getting a wonderful breeze.

We were exhausted after this LONG day, but definitely worth it.  When in Chicago, you have to do all the Chicago things.  Go Cubs!

So fun!! Wrigley! The Starbucks cup in your hand seems to show up quite often in these pictures. And those cute boys.
